Welcome to Peoples State Bank

Money Market Account

If you want to earn higher interest and still have accessibility to your funds, we have your solution. Our money market account is an interest bearing account with a minimum opening deposit of $2,000.00. The interest rate and annual percentage yield are included in the Rate Chart and may change at our discretion. You must maintain a minimum balance of $1,000.00 to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield with this account.

Six transfers are allowed from your account each four week or similar period by preauthorized or automatic transfer, telephone agreement, order or instruction, check, draft debit card or similar order, made by the depositor and payable to third parties.

Transfers and withdrawals made in person, by messenger, by mail or at an ATM are unlimited. If you exceed the transfer limitations set forth above in any statement period, your account will be subject to closure.

This account also offers access to secure online banking.

Interest rate and annual percentage yield are included in Rate Chart. The interest rate and annual percentage yield may change at our discretion. We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on this account. Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day you deposit non-cash items (for example, checks). Fees could reduce the earnings on the account. Interest will be compounded monthly and credited to the account monthly. If the account is closed before interest is credited, you will not receive the accrued interest. Overdraft fees apply to overdrafts created by check, in-person withdrawal or other electronic means. Overdraft fees may also apply to one-time debit purchases and ATM withdrawals if a consumer has opted-in to overdraft services at PSB.

Monthly Service Charge

A monthly service charge of $8.33 will be imposed every statement cycle if your average daily balance falls below $2,000.00. The average daily balance is calculated by adding the principle for the account for each day of the period and dividing that figure by the number of days in the period. An excessive debit charge of $1.23 will be charged for each debit transaction in excess of three debits per month.
